The Fiji is a versatile and all-round great board for the quiver.It has a very large size bracket from 56 right up to 80. Characterised by its signature triple stringer blank and 4 deep channels, the Fiji can be bulked up or whittled down to suit any surfer, wave, or condition. The Fiji’s origin story originates when Torren was planning a trip to, yep, you guessed it Fiji! In the days leading up to his departure date, the swell map kept growing. The report went from a mellow 4-6ft Cloudbreak to 8-10 ft 17-second period ground swell. Sitting in the rafters of the factory was a solid Burford triple stringer blank with this swell written all over it. And thus, the Fiji was born. You can see the board on its inaugural trip to Cloudbreak in Torren Martyn’s ‘Sea Legs’. Although being built to be surfed in waves of consequence and power, the Fiji will still perform well in smaller surf. Especially when ridden smaller, lighter, and rounder. The Fiji comes in many size options as discussed above but also in a single stringer option.
