And now the Ultraflex (molded) Tommy Witt model is here. Tommy Witt is a young surfer who represents San Clemente, and was created through joint development with Hurley. It is also one of the top-ranked high-performance longboards currently available from the manufacturer, and is said to be capable of tight turns thanks to the combination of a narrowed tail and stabilizer. The board design incorporates a modern taste, with a round nose, medium taper rails, a deep nose concave to single bottom, and a single concave set all over the board, and the tail is designed as a narrowed round squash. The rocker is set to the middle on both the nose and tail, the fin set is a single stabilizer, and it is an Ultraflex molded board. Although it is ultra-flexible, it uses EPS foam as the base and is covered with a high-density, highly durable Flexlite PVC sheet. Therefore, unlike conventional tough light boards, it ensures flex (bending) and enables a drive turn with a stretch. The epoxy specification creates further buoyancy, and not only does it allow for stable and quick takeoff, but the innovative bottom design enhances the stability of the nose. In addition, the Flexlite specification makes it lightweight and at the same time creates flex, and the narrowed round squash tail makes the rail switching smooth, allowing for aggressive and high-performance maneuverability.
