The Lost Ripper is a radically fun, small-wave slasher. A surfboard designed to violently shred everyday, average surf from 1-4ft. The Ripper was inspired by Kolohe Andino, who loved the Rad Ripper but wanted all the nostalgic 80’s design elements removed, focussing on performance instead.

The Lost Ripper features:

• Lower rocker with a single concave centre and a deep double concave/vee that runs through the fins and out the tail.
• Moderately rolled rail and deck.
• The tail is scooped out with a thinner, boxy block with a subtle bump/hip.
• The nose is slightly pulled, with a touch more rocker, to fit into tight transitions.
• The rocker is medium to low through the front half of the board providing lots of paddle power and easy speed generation from the get-go. The tail has plenty of rocker for turning control and snappy responsiveness.
• A single concave runs through the entire bottom, with a double concave set inside, which equals speed and life when on rail and over flat spots while allowing for quick rail-to-rail transitions.

The Lost Ripper loves to be surfed aggressively, off the tail. The low rocker and wide tail block relish rear foot pressure, driving, snapping, and carving harder the more aggressively it’s ridden.

Ride about the same size as your original Rad Ripper but with a touch less foam for a cheeky feeling or easily go a bit longer if you want to cruise and enjoy.

Multi-axial carbon fibre is a great alternative to traditional woven carbon fibres because it is made up of alternately aligned layers of unidirectional carbon reinforcement.
